My NAET Experience
Have you ever had headaches that never seemed to go away, always lurking? How about muscle aches? For me, it was all of that and then some. I had terrible bronchitis, constant colds and just general respiratory misery. I went from doctor to doctor, always with new pills and advice, but never cured.
And then one of the doctors said that I had allergies. Allergies are powerful bodily reactions to substances, and these reactions can cause a wide range of symptoms. The diagnoses can be unclear, and dealing with some allergies can be difficult.
At this dismal moment, a friend who had different symptoms but a similar lack of cure, told me about her discovery of an acupressure and acupuncture technique which successfully treated her allergies without shots, without invasive therapy of any kind, and rapidly. It sounded too good to be true, but I was suffering, so I investigated. Really, I had nothing to lose.
This technique (NAET- Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques) created about twenty five years ago by Dr. Devi Nambudripad of California, works through acupressure by clearing the body of its strong response to the allergen. A very precise form of muscle testing quickly identifies the allergen. The treatment is then administered, and the substance is avoided for about a day. Many individual allergic reactions are completely relieved by one treatment. Most of mine were.
The system works by calming the internal body energetic meridians so that they will not go into high alert and create strong reactions when the allergen is encountered. The alarm system is essentially turned off and the body is able to cope much more easily with its environment.
Acupressure is closely related to acupuncture, and comes from the same theoretical base and the same long usage in China and other Asian countries. I can only state my deep gratitude to Dr. Nambudripad. Because of her work and my positive experience with NAET, I have become trained and certified to provide this technique. I could have continued downhill indefinitely had I not found NAET.
Here are a few experiences with NAET in my practice. A patient reported that two days earlier, a large, hard, painful lump developed in the right armpit. Muscle testing indicated it was due to an allergic reaction to wheat. During the 20-minute NAET treatment, the pain, hardness, and lump disappeared leaving a small, soft, pimple. A patient was having pain in their side. Muscle testing indicated an allergy to soy was responsible. After NAET treatment, the pain went away. Another patient had a skin rash over much of their body. Muscle testing determined that it was due to a sensitivity to and frequent contact with pool and hot tub water. After treatment, the condition was resolved. Another patient had chronic episodes of sinus problems for six years. The condition was greatly resolved after a NAET treatment for sensitivity to damp heat.
